One of our traditions at St. Mary's is the 8th grade t-shirt. Each year, some of the 8th graders create a drawing for their class shirt. The image, along with a bible verse, is placed on a shirt that the 8th graders and teachers wear each Friday. This year, the class also added a sweatshirt to this tradition. This year's design was created by Claire Blanchard, Olivia Naquin, and Ellana Arnette.
Designed at the end of the 2020-2021 school year, the class selected a bible verse they felt reflected their time at St. Mary’s – “Go your way; your faith has made you well” (Mark 10:52). Olivia, Ellana, and Claire then worked together to create an image that was reflective of the bible verse and the school’s “swamped in our faith” theme.
“We wanted to make sure that the bible verse was something about keeping our faith even though we will be going to a different school next year,” Claire said.
